W. Architecture

W. Architecture was originally created for Temple University’s Graduate Services logo. I wanted to create my own spin for this logo by separating it from the educational program and making it more unique. I changed the colors from the original logo to blue, so it relates to a blueprint style. I also changed the type to imitate the structures scene in blue prints as well. The challenge was to separate this program from the typical graduate logos and make it stand out. The reason for this was because the program provides graduate students with resources, but not necessarily resources about graduating. This abstract design we went with was to represent the structure the program provides for the students who need it. This led to my exploration of turning the logo into an architecture logo. The main element throughout this is branding.
